The Sure-M hinge is adjusted from the posterior as shown. Turn the hex driver counter clockwise to shorten the hinge.
CAUTION: Never tighten the hinge to the titration wheel, shorten the hinges only until they gently touch the titration tool
INCREASE PROTRUSION (shorten the hinges)
1. Place the calibration tool over the hinge threads at the desired number.
2. Insert the adjusting tool into the hinge screw.
3. While gently holding the upper appliance forward, turn the screw until the outer tubes of the hinge slightly contact the edges of the calibration tool tab. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN
4. Remove the calibration tool.
5. Repeat the same procedure on the opposite hinge.
The Sure-P hinge is adjusted from the anterior as shown. Turn the screwdriver clockwise to shorten the hinge.
CAUTION: Never tighten the hinge to the titration wheel, shorten the hinges only until they gently touch the titration tool
REDUCE PROTRUSION (lengthen the hinges)
1. Insert the adjusting tool and turn the screw to expose slightly more thread than the width of the calibration tool tab of the selected calibration number.
2. Place the calibration tool over the threads.
3. While gently holding the upper appliance forward, turn the screw until the outer tubes of the hinge slightly contact the edges of the calibration tool tab. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN

Serena Sleep nightguards are available in different styles
All Nightguard appliances are available for the Upper or Lower of Both arches
Flat Plane: Our flat plane appliances are designed to offer a smooth, full-arch surface that allows for natural jaw movement.
They are designed with guidance to provide posterior disclusion during protrusive and lateral movements.
A no guidance version is also available, offering full occlusal contact while still supporting free mandibular movement.
Anterior Element: The anterior element is added to the anatomical design to provide anterior occlusion, resulting in posterior disclusion. This is intended to help reduce the clenching and grinding forces associated with posterior contact.
